Thin, grayish-white white, dense stoneware paste. Salt-glazed surface, producing a glossy, white fine “orange peel” finish. Incised geometric and floral designs that are filled with a heavy application of cobalt blue oxide. Excess pigment is left on the surface, producing cloudy blue areas outside of the incised design. |
