The materials from St. Augustine, Florida (1565-present) were generated by systematic archaeological excavations over the past 40 years (1959-1999) on 33 Spanish colonial, British colonial, African American, American Indian and post-colonial sites in St. Augustine, Florida.

They include more than 1 million items of glass, metals, stone, shell and bone. They are curated jointly by the University of Florida, the Florida Division of Historical Resources and the City of St. Augustine at the Florida Museum of Natural History.
