Make a giftMcGuire Publications Fund
The McGuire publications fund provides small grants to our students to help cover the costs of publishing papers in peer-reviewed journals. Fees are often charged by journals that cover more specialist fields, such as Lepidoptera taxonomy, or as Open Access fees so that the article will be freely available online to all users, without an institutional subscription.

The Mr. Carl Wisler and Dr. Midge Smith Visiting Researcher Endowment provides awards to students, professionals and other Lepidoptera researchers to enable them to visit and work in the collections and labs of the McGuire Center for Lepidoptera and Biodiversity. The fund has broad benefits, enabling visiting researchers to access to one of the world’s largest collections, expanding and accelerating the use of our collections, helping to curate and enhance the McGuire collections through the expertise of visiting researchers, and promoting collaboration between the McGuire Center and institutions and researchers from around the world.
