Scientist in Every Florida School (SEFS) is searching for the next recipient of the SEFS SuperStar Teacher Award. This award honors a K-12 public school teacher (any grade) that goes above and beyond to share their passion for teaching science through the delivery of SEFS related content to their students. Preference will be given to nominees who demonstrate one or more of the following criteria:
- On-going collaborations with scientist(s)
- Lesson development with scientist(s)
- Participation in live and virtual classroom events
- Participation in SEFS professional development opportunities
- Sharing awareness of SEFS program to colleagues and other stakeholders
Nominations are ongoing and awards are presented on a quarterly basis. Anyone can nominate a deserving teacher (administrator, another teacher, parent etc.)
