The current public health crisis has forced us to rethink many of our routine daily tasks. Such changes are extremely evident in the education system.  With mandates for social distancing and school closures, administrators and educators have been forced to re-tool the learning process for over 1 million school-aged students across Florida. 

Our team from the Scientist in Every Florida School program is here to help. We have joined forces with the Community Scholars Initiative to offer relief to educators and parents via a “Daily Dose” of educational enrichment activities for families while the kids are stuck at home.  

These activities are posted daily in our Scientist in Every Florida School Facebook group, as well as our Twitter channel. We intend for these to offer guidance to the struggling parents who must now assist with their children’s education in ways we could not fathom just one month ago.
