Position description

Duties can be tailored to the candidate’s interests, skills, and experience. Options include creating social and multimedia content about UF research, taking photos, evaluating research projects for content potential, writing news briefs and short articles, and surfacing story ideas. Can either be paid or for credit.

Qualifications

Enthusiasm and aptitude for science communication, whether it’s social posts, short videos, discovering ideas for great content, or writing articles. Informal experience is acceptable. Candidates do not need to be journalism majors.
