Sustainable actions have larger impacts when we work together as a team. From clubs at the University of Florida to community science projects and statewide organizations, there are a number of ways to get involved with environmental protection.

Join Environmental Clubs

The University of Florida has numerous environmental clubs such as Climate Active Gator, Student Animal Alliance, and so many more. You can browse the different available clubs on UF’s student involvement website and get involved today!

Join Community Science Projects

Community science is research conducted by the public in collaboration with scientists. Anyone with an interest in science can participate in a variety of projects. Websites like Scistarter.org allow you to search community science projects and sort them by topic and location.

Join Local Organizations

There are many local environmental organizations to get involved with outside of UF as well. Some examples include The Sunrise Movement, the Alachua Conservation Trust, and Keep Alachua County Beautiful.

Join Statewide Organizations

Some organizations have chapters all over the state of Florida! Consider looking into the Florida Trail Association, Florida Native Plant Society, or Save the Manatee Club.
