Despite the questionable Florida weather this year, well over 3,000 visitors came out on October 8 to celebrate our 12th annual ButterflyFest! The ever-popular ButterflyFest plant sale was also a smashing hit among gardeners who came from miles around to discover wonderful local plants for they yards.
Our fabulous team was so appreciative of our many volunteers that helped before, during and after. We were also delighted by the exciting activities and crafts offered by the clubs and organizations, as well as vendors, who set up tables to engage with our many visitors.
As always, the butterfly releases were popular events, and we saw quite a few new faces at our workshops and talks.
