sarah steele cabreraSarah Steele Cabrera is a Ph.D. student and graduate research assistant in the Daniels Lab at the McGuire Center for Lepidoptera and Biodiversity at the Florida Museum of Natural History.

Her current work focuses on the conservation and ecology of rare and endangered butterflies in Florida, including the Miami blue and Schaus swallowtail butterflies. Before coming to work at the museum, she was a biological technician for several agencies, including the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the Bureau of Land Management.
