GROW HUB is a 501c3 not-for-profit plant nursery supporting the lives of adults living with disabilities. The campus provides a little something for everyone, including retail sales, nursery stock management, gardening, landscape maintenance, equipment repairs, seed saving, plant sales, art classes, and yoga workshops.
Volunteer areas include:
- Staff Community Garden maintenance (e.g. planting, fertilizing, harvesting, record keeping)
- Community outreach and special events (e.g. farmer’s markets, pop-up shops, community skillshares)
- Plant care and maintenance (e.g. watering, fertilizing, pruning, up-potting, weeding)
- Native plant propagation (e.g. seeding, cuttings)
- Administrative (e.g. printing/organizing labels, updating inventory lists)
