Opportunity Description

Earth Day is an annual, worldwide event on April 22 to demonstrate support for environmental protection. Here at UF, we focus on celebrating the entire month of April as an extended celebration of Earth Day. During this time, we invite all UF students, faculty, and staff to host programs and events with a connection to sustainability. Earth Month is a time to reflect on our relationship with the planet, build and strengthen community, and renew a commitment to sustainability in our local communities and beyond.

The Office of Sustainability and Thompson Earth Systems Insitute will host the Sustainability-In-Action Showcase to kick off UF Earth Month. This tabling event will provide participants with the opportunity to learn more about sustainability on campus and connect with organizations with a strong commitment to sustainability. This event features a tabling expo, interactive displays, games, hands-on activities, and more! This event is free and open to all students, faculty, and staff.
