Description

A fresh perspective involves reimagining familiar situations with a renewed approach. It’s an infusion of new ideas, innovations, or event technologies. In 2024, Women in Green’s Fresh Perspectives delves into how we would address the challenges female professionals face if they were encountering them for the first time. How would we perceive our achievements without the influence of historical sentiments?

With four generations in today’s workforce and a fifth entering within the next decade, women’s professional experiences are rich and varied. This diversity provides an excellent platform for collaborative solutions and inspiration, moving beyond traditional frameworks.  Consider the possibilities of harnessing a wealth of fresh perspectives within reach. Imagine what we could do, create, or be with that volume of new perspectives. Join us at Women in Green 2024 to explore the potential to innovate, create, and redefine our roles in today’s dynamic professional landscape.

Our panel discussion will focus on training the next wave through higher education, bringing together accomplished women who have excelled in the sustainability industry, with a specific emphasis on LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) initiatives within higher education. The conversation will delve into the integral role women in the green workforce and tools like the LEED Lab programs play in shaping the mindset of future leaders and preparing them for impactful careers in sustainable design and development.

This forum will include a panel presentation, a Next Wave workforce development session, and designated networking time. Refreshments will be provided. See the schedule.
