Enjoy an interactive online experience for gardeners who want to build better habitats for pollinators! Explore the natural world from home with the expertise of Florida Museum staff in these Pollinator Palooza virtual gardening workshops.

Whether you are a serious gardener or the occasional weekend warrior, Butterfly Rainforest exhibit manager and plant expert Ryan Fessenden, has some tips and tricks to help you create the ultimate pollinator landscape.

Want to get to know your fellow gardeners? Log on 15 minutes early, or stay 15 minutes late, to virtually meet other gardening enthusiasts!

Topic: Build a Butterfly Garden

Is a water feature necessary for butterflies? Why do you get only Gulf fritillary caterpillars when you planted passionflower for zebra longwings? Learn how to use host, nectar and accent plants to support a variety of pollinator species! Also, take a virtual visit to the Museum’s greenhouse for a sneak peek at the species that will be available in the upcoming online plant sale!

Make sure to check out all four of the gardening workshops we’re offering during Pollinator Palooza! They are not sequential, so choose the ones you’re most interested in, or save when you attend all four.
