Alise Cross is responsible for assisting with content creation and coordination for TESI’s various educational events and programs. She has experience in social media management and advertising in nonprofit, for profit, and educational sectors. She is passionate about cultivating her local community and has been involved in several community projects.

Since 2016 she has coordinated monthly events for Self Narrate, a local nonprofit organization with a mission to provide opportunities for individuals to experience empowerment through the writing and sharing of their personal stories. She also has worked to plan and promote events to showcase up-and-coming musicians in nontraditional spaces through Sofar Sounds Gainesville. She earned a bachelor’s degree in English with a focus in creative writing from the University of Central Florida, and is currently a master’s student in the UF College of Journalism and Communication’s Public Interest Communication program.
