Celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month with the Museum and the Gainesville Latino Film Festival! Explore the culture of Latin America with seldom seen artifacts from the Florida Museum’s ethnographic collection.
We’ve heard of the Amazon rainforest and the animals that call it home, but what about its people? Come and see the amazing objects created by the indigenous peoples of the Amazon, talk to museum scientists including registrar Elise LeCompte and take part in a scavenger hunt that will be available in English and Spanish.
Don’t forget, it’s the last day to see live animals in the Survival of the Slowest exhibit!
