Sol Lima

TESI Environmental Leaders Fellow
Spring 2026

Sol Lima is a junior from Jupiter, Florida studying wildlife ecology and conservation and UFTeach science education. Through this fellowship, Sol is interested in learning more about museum education, community outreach, ornithology, and solving problems cooperatively.

In her professional life, she hopes to stay involved in conservation in any way possible. She also hopes to become a middle school science teacher and inspire a future generation to love science and get outdoors. She hopes to continue to spend her free time helping conservation nonprofits and volunteering for wildlife.

In her free time, she enjoys birding, reading books, trying new coffee shops, learning new things, and hanging out with friends.

“I’m so excited to learn more about museum education and take these skills with me as a future educator and conservation advocate!”
