Environmental Engineering Major
TESI Environmental Leaders Fellowship Florida Springs Outreach Intern
Spring 2025
Riley Gallen is an undergraduate student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, originally from Breckenridge, Colorado. She is passionate about developing practical solutions that allow humans and the environment to coexist sustainably in the fight against climate change. She believes that education is a key step in driving action and is dedicated to finding creative ways to inform people about the impacts of global warming. Her passion for marine conservation inspires her to use her degree to design solutions that help restore coastal ecosystems, particularly coral reefs.
Outside of TESI, she has a variety of interests, including volleyball, singing, playing guitar, photography, running, surfing, and yoga. She also loves animals and has a Bernese Mountain Dog who is back home with my family. Traveling and experiencing new places is another passion of hers that fuels her commitment to preserving the planet for future generations.
