Melina Campanella
TESI Environmental Leaders Fellow
Spring 2026
Melina Campanella is a sophomore from Tampa studying wildlife ecology and conservation. Through this fellowship, Melina is interested in learning more about the different pathways in the wildlife ecology field, especially research/careers related to animal behavior or human impacts.
In her professional life, she hopes to get hands-on field experience and meet other researchers in the field.
In her free time, Melina enjoys spending time with friends, kayaking, sculpting, hiking with her dog, and birdwatching.
“I am excited to learn more about birds and the research that is being done on them in Florida.”
