Max Overdevest

Fall 2025

Max Overdevest is a senior from Gainesville, Florida studying environmental science and geography. Through this fellowship, Max is interested in learning more about longleaf pine ecosystems, Karst caves, and other types of Florida environments. 

In his professional life, he hopes to work to help others appreciate and value the environment so that they develop more eco-friendly habits. 

In his free time, he enjoys going on runs and playing beach volleyball, basketball, and ultimate frisbee.
