Liel Shachr

TESI Environmental Leaders Fellow
Fall 2025

Liel Shachr is a senior from Weeki Wachee, Florida studying natural resource conservation and environmental justice and policy. Through this fellowship, Liel is interested in learning more about marine conservation, education and outreach, and policy. 

In her professional life, she hopes to go to law school and study environmental and animal welfare law and work for a non-profit as an attorney or lobbyist. 

In her free time, she enjoys to sew, write, swim/surf, and watch TV/movies.
