Eva Poore
TESI Environmental Leaders Fellow
Spring 2026
Eva Poore is a sophomore from Sarasota studying wildlife ecology and conservation. Through this fellowship, Eva is interested in learning more about local ecosystem function, how environmental changes are impacting local systems, and anything about birds.
In their professional life, they hope to work outside and push for conservation both through local action and research.
In their free time, Eva enjoys drawing (especially birds), going to art festivals, birding, or volunteering at food pantries.
“I’m excited to learning anything and everything I can about birds, there’s just so much to learn and even more we’re still figuring out!”
