Coleen Sailsman is a senior from Lauderhill, Florida, studying environmental science. Through this Fellowship, Sailsman is interested in learning more about sustainable studies and solutions to climate and environmental justice issues. In her professional life, she hopes to work in an environmental justice profession helping to address and right social inequities. She also would like to be a sustainability advocate and help influence larger organizations to make sustainable decisions. In her free time, she enjoys exploring new areas in her community and new nature preserves. She also enjoys drawing and painting environmental scenes, plants and animals.
