Description
From greeting guests to sorting fossils, volunteers can be found in just about every area of the Museum. Whether with a curator behind the scenes or with youngsters in the Discovery Zone, volunteers are a vital part of the Florida Museum. We’d love to have you join us!
Service opportunities range from interacting with the public as an exhibit docent to working behind the scenes in the research collections.
New volunteer orientations are conducted at the beginning of the Fall and Spring semesters, with the first orientation happening on September, 10th.
Eligibility
Adult volunteers must be 18 years or older and not fall under the limitations listed set by the University of Florida.
Those interested in participating in the Florida Museum Volunteer Program must fill out a Volunteer Application, which can be downloaded here: FM-Volunteer-Application.
