For two weeks last April, Michael Stuhrenberg a reporter from GEO magazine and photographer Christian Ziegler joined PCP PIRE and STRI’s paleontology team in Panama to compose an article about the exciting new fossils we are finding as we embrace the once in a lifetime opportunity of the Canal expansion. We visited different fossil localities along the canal where the journalists interviewed and took pictures of us “in action.” A European monthly educational magazine similar to National Geographic, GEO is known for its prodigious and thorough articles accompanied by magnificent pictures. We hope to share the article with you as soon as it is available.
