The Florida Museum’s 2020 School Holiday Camps have been CANCELED.
Dive into the sciences and investigate natural history through virtual activities and hands-on exploration! Our programs are a great way to educate and excite kids about their natural surroundings.
Virtual camp sessions will be held twice a day with morning sessions for ages 6 & 7 and afternoon sessions for ages 8, 9 & 10. Pre-registration is required. Registration closes the Thursday before the start of camp.

Nov. 23 | Trail Mix
Do you love hiking the gorgeous American trails? Did you know there are adventurers hiking 2,000 miles on them just for fun? Learn about American trail wildlife and how you can become a great American trail explorer yourself!
Nov. 24 | A Day at the Beach
Grab your sunscreen and bathing suit, the Florida Museum is headed to the virtual shore! Look at the shorelines through the lens of a scientist. Explore the shore’s composition and learn about the life that inhabits these areas. And hopefully find a new sense of respect for the shoreline and how to be a good environmental steward to this important environment.
Dec. 21 | We Need Some Space!
Investigate outer space with this out of this world camp. How did our Sun form? Why is the Moon important to humans? These questions have been asked as long as we have looked at the sky. Hop onto our virtual space craft to find out!
Dec. 22 | Root for the Trees
Did you know that trees are their own ecosystems? Learn how these tall giants can be called home by different creatures and provide for its surrounding environment.

- Registrations are accepted online only.
- Camps are filled in the order registration forms are received. Waiting lists are available.
