On March 7th, 2021, we met for an afternoon of virtual fungal fun via Zoom! Starting with a quick review of Mushroom 101 we then took a deep dive into fungal interactions with plants and animals with our guest experts on insect pathogens (zombie ants!) and the lovable lichen you can find in your own backyard!

In partnership with the Florida Academic Lichen and Fungi Enthusiasts League, we heard from University of Florida scientists and experts from all over the country about the marvelous world of mushrooms.
