The National Science Foundation has announced the recipients and honorable mentions of its 2023 Graduate Research Fellowship Program awards, which include four graduate students from the Florida Museum of Natural History. Roughly 12,000 students apply for the GRFP each year, of which 2,000 are awarded funding.
This year’s students are:
- Alisa Luthra, advised by Michelle LeFebvre (South Florida Archaeology and Ethnography)
- Erin Grady, incoming student advised by Rob Guralnick (Biodiversity Informatics)
- Selby Olson, advised by Jon Bloch (Vertebrate Paleontology)
- Elizabeth White, advised by Douglas Soltis, co-advised by Pamela Soltis (Molecular Systematics and Evolutionary Genetics)
