The lab was recently awarded $150,000 from NSF to study rare leaf-mining moths of the genus Philodoria. The title of the grant is: Hawaiian Philodoria green-island leaf mining moths: Revisionary systematics, phylogenetics and biogeography of a threatened fauna.
