I am a recent graduate from the University of Florida with a degree in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation and a minor in Entomology and Nematology. As an Insect Field Technician, I collaborate with other technicians to monitor and plant milkweed and pollinator plants across Gainesville, raise and care for endangered lepidopterans and other insects, organize and input data, and help work on a variety of projects in the lab. I have always been passionate about wildlife, specifically insects, and my work and experience has only grown my love for the outdoors and how we can conserve it. Working at the Daniels Lab, and previously at the Miller Ecology Lab, I have spent a lot of time rearing many different insects. I love working closely with different species, being able to observe their life cycles, and see the positive differences we are making for their survival. I hope to continue doing conservation work and spreading a passion for wildlife and the amazing species this lab works with.
