We had a great time representing the RRC at the Pine Island July 4th Parade! It was a very rainy time across southwest Florida as a tropical disturbance thwarted many July 4th festivities across the region. However, true to the Pine Island spirit of resilience, the island’s parade was not cancelled, and in fact, the clouds parted for a sunny day! We had a great time and also stopped by the PIFD to drop off some museum and UF thank you gifts for their support of our Smith Mound trail restoration.

As many of you know, we are currently closed as the RRC classroom undergoes a renovation to climate-control the building and install new lighting. We are very appreciative of the support and patience that so many have shown as we aim to complete this construction project as safely and quickly as possible!
