Fighting Extinction
Each year the number of species in need of conservation grows. The Museum’s collections document the changing biodiversity of our world, while researchers use the collections to understand the nature of threats and to propose solutions. This provides a platform for new approaches to preserving species in the wild. The objects shown here represent some of the challenges and successes in species conservation.
