From Nose to Brain: Understanding the Sense of Smell, with Jeremy C. McIntyre, Ph.D., Assistant Professor, Department of Neuroscience, McKnight Brain Institute, Center for Smell and Taste, University of Florida

The sense of smell plays an important role in our lives, informing us about our world. How this information is coded in the brain is still not fully understood. McIntyre’s lab focuses on how hormones in the brain act to influence the process of detecting and perceiving odors.

Participants purchase their own food and beverage from a special Science Café menu. Seating and food/beverage ordering begin at 6 p.m. Please note that seating is on a first-come basis (except when wheelchair access is requested in advance).

As space is limited for these FREE programs, PLEASE RSVP via Eventbrite. (Registration starts Jan. 29, 2018) Reservations open three weeks before the event.
