Meet us at UF Fall Fest! While you’re learning about all the incredible library resources available on campus, look for our team at the Florida Museum table for some reptile-themed fun.

We’re looking forward to the University of Florida Libraries’ annual Fall Fest so we can meet the UF student community in person. While you’re learning about all of the many services for students, come meet your campus natural history museum team!

Today’s Topic: Go Gators

Look for our pop-up museum with fascinating items from our collections. Check out the differences between alligators and crocodiles with real skulls and learning all about the reptiles that live around us.

Fun fact: Our herpetology department maintains a checklist of the species of amphibians and reptiles found on the University of Florida campus. You might be surprised how many species are the UF Campus Species List.

Florida Museum on the Go!

Find us out into the community at favorite spots around town while our public exhibits building is closed for the big expansion project. We’re bringing the Florida Museum to farmers markets, libraries and other local events around Alachua County. You never know where the next Pop-Up Museum or Pop-Up Gift Shop will surprise you.
