Through partnership in honoring and sharing Seminole Tribe of Florida Heritage, join us at Heartwood Soundstage for a special performance by Seminole Tribe of Florida poets, musicians, and storytellers, Elgin Jumper and Gordon “Ollie” Wareham.

We are also bringing a pop-up exhibition of South Florida Ethnographic & Archaeological collections from the Florida Museum.
Elgin Jumper is an artist, poet and musician. Several of his paintings will be exhibited during the performance.
Gordon Warehman is a storyteller, musician, and the director of the Seminole Tribe of Florida’s Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum on Big Cypress Reservation. The museum is home to more than 200,000 objects and is a center of Seminole culture, history, and art.
Both are members of the Seminole Tribe of Florida and we appreciate the opportunity to collaborate with them and other UF partners to present this free showcase of Florida Indigenous heritage, art, and music.
