Science is all around you! Come in costume and celebrate Halloween early at the Florida Museum. Take advantage of this opportunity to talk with scientists, meet LIVE caterpillars and discover the science behind creatures that can seem scary.

See LIVE caterpillars and snakes, interact with real specimens from the Museum’s collections and learn about forensic science from the University of Florida Police Department!

We’ve got bones! We’ve got a spooky cave! We’ve got a selfie spot to get some fun shots! Stop by our table to show off your costume and get a non-candy treat. Bring your specimens and find answers during an afternoon of discovery and learning.

This event is FREE, candy-free and ideal for small children, because there will be no additional scary Halloween decorations or features. While the event activities are FREE, there is an admission charge for the Butterfly Rainforest and Crocs exhibits.
