100th Anniversary Logo, BlackIn 1917, state legislation creating the Florida State Museum was signed into law. In the past century, the Museum has flourished, both as an educational resource to curious minds, and as a research center for local ecology and global biodiversity. We’ve been known as the Florida Museum of Natural History since 1988. As we turn our focus to the next century of science and exploration, come celebrate the Museum’s achievements over the past 100 years!
