CSI: Crime Scene Insects
This exhibit was on display May 8, 2010, through January 17, 2011
CSI: Crime Scene Insects explored one of the most fascinating areas of criminal investigation – forensic entomology. Through hands-on learning stations, examples of real field and lab equipment and intriguing case studies, this exhibit traced the origins of forensic entomology from the 13th century and examined the effective use of insects in crime solving.
This traveling exhibit was developed and constructed by Exhibit IQ. The national tour was made possible by Bayer Environmental Science. The exhibit, endorsed by the producers of the hit CBS television series CSI, meets National Science Education Standards and is suitable for children 8 years and older. CSI: Crime Scene Insects is sponsored by the University of Florida Student Government.
