Join Florida Museum photographers Jeff Gage and Kristen Grace, along with Santa Fe College photographer Matt Stamey for an immersive, hands-on photography workshop set in the vibrant surroundings of the Santa Fe College Teaching Zoo.

Get exclusive access to stunning animal subjects and insight into nature photography from experienced professionals. Whether you’re an aspiring photographer or simply looking to sharpen your skills, this unique experience offers an informative, engaging look into the world of wildlife photography!

Experts will discuss lenses, equipment, lighting, tips and tricks to best capture wildlife. Then explore the zoo with your instructors to put your skills to the test in a special behind-the-scenes tour that allows you to get up close with the animals!

What to expect and bring

  • Walking along, uneven terrain is necessary to participate in this program.
  • This program is designed for photographers ages 16 and up. Minors need to be accompanied by an adult.
  • All types of cameras are welcome.
  • No flash photography will be allowed and tripods are not necessary, but may be allowed in some locations.
