Looking for creative ways to spend time at home? Join the Florida Museum and Santa Fe College Art Gallery in creating a virtual showcase of art from our community! Create your work of art, take a picture and enter it by June 5 to be featured. The showcase goes live on June 19.

The theme for this exhibition is the Museum’s mission of “Inspiring People to Care About Life on Earth” and each artist can submit up to three entries. Submissions are accepted from April 24 to June 5.

The showcase will go live on June 19 on the Santa Fe College Art Gallery website and consists of three ‘galleries’ divided by age:

  • 12 years old and under
  • 13 to 17 years old
  • 18+ years old

How to participate:

  1. Create up to three masterpieces. These can be any forms of art so grab your paint, pencils, crayons or even sculpting materials and start creating!
  2. Take a photo of each of your entries.
  3. Complete this submission form. This can be done electronically, or printed, handwritten and then scanned. SciArt Submission Form
  4. Email the form and submissions to either kyle.novak@sfcollege.edu or ccollison@flmnh.ufl.edu by June 5.
  5. Name your submissions as follows: yourlastnamefirstinitial_01, yourlastnamefirstinitial_02, yourlastnamefirstinitial_03. A completed entry must include a submission form and correctly titled images.
  6. If your files are too large to email, they may be sent via Google Drive.

Please note that by submitting a photo, the entrant authorizes the Florida Museum of Natural History and Santa Fe College to utilize the image for promotional purposes in print, broadcast and online outlets, including use on social media sites.
