Discover which butterfly species you can attract, and learn about the plants that work best in your landscape. We offer a variety of native, nectar and host plants as well as accent plants for purchase.
Fall Plant Sale & Orchid Show
Each October, Kanapaha Botanical Gardens and the Gainesville Orchid Society host this annual plant sale inviting visitors to see the botanical gardens for free and meet over 50 booths selling a wide variety of plants. Learn more about their event on their website:

Find us out into the community at favorite spots around town while our public exhibits building is closed for the big expansion project. We’re bringing the Florida Museum to farmers markets, libraries and other local events around Alachua County. You never know where the next Pop-Up Museum or Pop-Up Gift Shop will surprise you.
