Help protect local archaeological sites by registering for the free Heritage Monitoring Scouts (HMS Florida) workshop. Discover threats to archaeological sites, how to identify common site types and artifacts, and learn about the best way to record this information.

Heritage Monitoring Scouts is a public engagement program focused on detecting changes to at-risk archaeological sites, especially those facing climate changes such as erosion and sea level rise. The Florida Public Archaeology Network encourages the public to apply to the program and receive monthly updates on statewide training and resources.
