A highly skilled IT professional, Kelsey brings over a decade of experience in hardware repair and software troubleshooting. From 2015 to 2024, Kelsey applied her analytical mindset at Everything Mac Inc. as an Apple Certified Mac and iOS Technician. She maintained her expertise by completing over 90 qualification courses while managing the company’s web presence and customer relations.
Her prior role with the University of Florida Genetics Institute revealed her talent for translating complex technical concepts into accessible and actionable knowledge. She found fulfillment in helping faculty and staff navigate technology challenges, teaching them to use their devices more effectively and confidently. This experience strengthened her belief that technology should serve as an empowering tool rather than a source of frustration.
Currently Kelsey is pursuing an AS in Programming and Analysis at Santa Fe College, she’s expanding her technical capabilities through advanced coursework in software development and analytical problem-solving.
Beyond her technical expertise, Kelsey holds a B.A. in Psychology from Emory University, where she helped to design and conduct award-winning research on racial priming and perceptions of disrespect. She particularly enjoyed learning about the psychobiology of visual perception and mirror neurons and continues to be fascinated by the nature of consciousness.
