Kick off your summer at the library! Check out our activity table full of fun butterfly-related activities and objects while you’re meeting more than 30 local organizations working in our community!

Look for our Pop-Up Museum at this big event so we can “Explore Florida” together. We’ll have a fun butterfly-launching activity station, a microscope to look at butterfly wings and temporary tattoos.

Reader Palooza

We’re excited to attend the Alachua County Library District’s FREE Reader Palooza! Play games, listen to live music and enjoy entertainment for all ages. Don’t forget to sign up for the Library’s Summer Reading to get a free tote bag. Full event information on our host’s website:

Pop-up Museums

We’re heading out into the community to bring the Florida Museum to favorite spots around town while our public exhibits building is closed for the big expansion project. We’ll be visiting farmers markets, libraries and other local events around Alachua County. You never know where the next Museum pop-up will surprise you.
