This project produced a five-module curriculum, initially intended for Florida public middle school students, to learn about fossil shark teeth while also engaging in the development of machine learning models. Students learn:
- Introduction to Artificial Intelligence
- Shark Tooth Classification and Data Collection
- Training and Evaluating Machine Learning (ML) Models
- Identifying Biases and Limitations in ML Datasets
- Building ML Models
It meets Florida State Standards for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students.
