    : United States: Florida: Franklin County. West side Market Street, 0.2 mile north from junction with Avenue F, Apalachicola. Open, exposed area with rich, dark, mucky soil. Habitat area infrequently mowed; peduncle twice as long as the sporocarp; rootstocks dark and much branched and tangled in the substrate.
