    : United States: Florida: Alachua County. Gainesville: University of Florida Campus, Natural Areas Teaching Laboratory. Disturbed mesic hammock dominated by Pinus taeda, Quercus virginiana, Quercus nigra, and Quercus hemisphaerica. Common herbaceous vine in forest, climbing to 10 m. Flowers +/-actinomorphic; perianth yellow, 5-merous, sweet-smelling. With Quercus hemisphaerica, Smilax smallii, Smilax tamnoides, and Liquidambar styraciflua. Elevation: 30 m. Lat/Long: 29.632N, 82.368W.
