    : United States: Florida: Dixie County. Perianth dark lavender ("royal purple"); sepals broadly ovate, to 2 cm. broad, throat yellow, with center line densely pubescent; petals broadly spatulate, to 1 cm. broad; ovary 6-ribbed; flowers somewhat below longest leaves. Bank of ditch, n.e. shoulder of Fla. 358, 1.6 mi. n.w. of jct. with U.S. 19, 3 mi. n.w. of Shamrock, sec. 26, T9S, R11E.
