    : United States: Florida: Alachua County. Gainesville, in medium of SW Archer Rd.; just east of jct with Gale Lemmerand Dr., south of Medical Plaza. Large succulent ( 1.5 meter wide) with long, thin, gray green leaves armed on leaf edges with small gray spines, whereas terminal spine brown and long. Primary inflorescences ca. 8 meters high with at least 15 panicules. The yellow flowers were collected from short (> 0.5 meter) inflorescences sprouting around plant base.
