    : United States: Florida: Hamilton County. Hamilton: Ellaville: Suwannee River. Suwannee River State Park, Suwannee River Trail near Lime Sink Run Trail. ca 50-70 ft in elevation. 3023'19.2"N, 083I0'7.2"W. Floodplain and river embankments. Deep alluvial sandy soils. MBC accessions 20050665-20050670 (Noblick 5442 A-F) are from the same population. Solitary palm with nearly acaulescent stem, with 3-5 dark bluish-green, nearly palmate leaves in the crown. Leaf petioles smooth, entire 36-63 em long x 0.5-0.7 cm wide. Petiole adaxially channeled and abaxially rounded. Lear rachis very short. 6-8 pairs of leaflets. Basal leaflets 37-60 cm x 1-2 cm wide. Middle leaflets 40-63 cm long x 1.5-2.5 cm wide. Androgynous inflorescence branching to two orders extends above the leaves with 71-105 cm long, 0.4-0.6 cm diam. peduncle and 36-55 cm long rachis. There are 4-6 primary branches measuring 5.5-6 cm long at the apex and 6-19 cm long at the hase. Fruits black in color and ca. I cm in diam.
