    : United States: Florida: Jackson County. south of Sneads on S/R/ 280, ca. 1/4 to 1/2 mile north of I-10, in Sec. 16, T3N, R7W. sandy soil that is damp to wet for prolonged periods; a hillside bog. Racemes broned singly on each peduncle; blades flat and linear or folded, not terete; the rachis with a zig-zag appearance; creeping stolons or rhizomes wanting; plants purplish and sometimes glaucous.
